summer of '08

after the hellish oral exam, who would have thought that we can still give out our best smiles? (or we're just damn good in hiding our scared expressions)

we were wave 6.3 Time Warner Cable account in Convergys. 

and we totally redefined the word "cool". nah, make it uber coolness.

• may-may - with that sweet angelic voice on the phone as Erin, who would have thought that she's one in-your-face tough chic?

• kalai - the coolest girl on the wave eva. she reaaaally knows the best way to par-tay!

• ruby ann - the perfect epitome of the strong independent woman. and yet, cute and bubbly at the same time.

• malyn - fashion + technical + humor = awesoooome. but don't be mislead, she sure is very outgoing (without the need to drink beer).

• van - sexy, sultry, seductive... heck, she can crack jokes without even trying. she's the LIFE of the crowd. literally.

• fermin - who shocked us with his "what makes you different" answer. definitely one of the best people to hang out with.

• verge - model, hottie, photographer, graphic designer... very easy-going and intriguing at the same time.

• jon bartz - be warned when you go with bartz during a drinking session, just make sure you'd survive! when mixed with ryan and sherwin, they'd make the best katagay crew ever.

• ryan - my mafia wars kumpadre and my technical training seatmate. being seated in between ryan and malyn kept me from having nosebleeds every single day with the lectures.

• ygie - one talented maniniyot. if you'd ask him to list down the places he's been to, i bet one page isn't enough. (am i right or am i right?)

• boyee - the recording artist. just the sound of his real name makes you think, is he really just a nice guy?

• jared - fresh-faced jock. the boy-next-door type. girls seem can't help but ask for his name. (haha)

• joe - this good-natured guy has the best radio-esque voice that could totally attract anyone. and i mean anyone.

• sherwin - the master. and we could never forget his Achmed the Terrorist impersonation.

• ezra - the singer. there was never a day that we didn't ask (or even pester) him to sing for us. who wouldn't? ezra is entertainment.

• sheldon - the guy with the wittiest remarks and the very first person who taught malyn how to "tagay"

• jacques - the smart charming guy. don't be fooled, he's not that innocent!

• RD - he is always the one that keeps the bunch together especially during desperate times. "one summer, one kapamilya" something like that

• mogs - surf dude. he is what the girls call, "boyfriend material". (ayay)

and i sure can't wait for the day we all get to be in the same dark noisy place drinking (and eating) our hearts out.
